Text: Psalm 107:8
LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO
Memory Verse: “I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses." (Isaiah 63:7)
Today, we have every reason to praise the Lord. He has brought us safely to the end of another month. This is no doubt a proof of His faithfulness in the lives of His chosen ones. It's not as if we deserve it. It's just because of His mercies. Our theme urges the redeemed of the Lord to say so; those He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy. It is a special thing for God to redeem His people from the hand of the enemy. So, we declare His redemptive power over our lives. It is a special feeling to be alive today.
It is not as if we are better or more righteous than those who did not make it to this point. The Psalmist on numerous occasions urged men to praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men. God broke the gates of brass in pieces and cut the bars of iron in sunder. Therefore, it makes sense to reciprocate this good gesture by declaring His redemptive power.
It is still possible there are things you set out to achieve that are still pending. Nevertheless, what is more important today is that you are still alive. He that is living has hope since a living dog is better than a dead lion. It is only when you are alive that you can pursue and achieve other set goals and objectives. For this moment, let us focus entirely on appreciating God for everything He has accomplished in our lives. Let us continue to declare His redemptive power. Our being alive today offers us fresh hope and opportunity to give life another shot. Let us just be happy and appreciate God for His mercy, graciousness and love. Thank Him and bless Him for He has done what no man can do.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
O God, thank you for seeing us through this month, in Jesus name.
Lord, take total and absolute control as I enter the next month, in Jesus name.
Any obstacle and hindrance programmed against my abundance; be removed by fire, in Jesus name .
Lord, release fresh grace and superior fire-power anointing upon our General Overseer and Mommy in the Lord, to operate fully in the supernatural realm of the spirit, in Jesus name.
Lord, save our nation from disaster and grant us absolute peace, love and unity, in Jesus name.
P.S. If you haven’t already, you can fill out our member survey with a prayer request so our campus fellowship will be praying for you.
